  • Better Thinking, Better Organization!

Medium & Large Businesses

Organizational Design That Elevates All!

Before you step forward, ask these questions: Does business innovation deliver a sustainable competitive edge and better margins, or is it a product/innovative technology product? Doesn’t the former provide a conducive environment to the latter? While innovative products can sometimes originate outside formal organizational systems, the foundational law that provides a stronger, more sustainable competitive edge must be recognized for a lasting one.

Benefits of Better Management Systems!

    • Meeting and exceeding the key financial metrics like higher profit margins and maintaining operating cash flows to investment when compared to other competitors within the industry.
    • Saving of at least twenty percent of total investment (could be up to three-quarters for a very dysfunctional organization) with respect to throughput in terms of gross revenue, product development, operational effectiveness, variability, and efficiency.
    • Capabilities to leverage, lead, and manage structural and dynamic complexities of the enterprise systems and the changing nature of market and societal environments due to rapid changes in the scientific, technological, and political landscape of each market segment in each geographical region.
    • Capabilities to meet the needs of all stakeholders - employees, shareholders, and members of society in which the enterprise operates.

How Do We Get Better Management Systems?

Here are some critical approaches we are ready to roll over to willing medium and large organizations, but not limited to the following:
      • Culture as a System: By utilizing 'Culture as a System' in designing and developing sociocultural organizational systems, learning, and development of all levels, from senior executive teams at the enterprise level through all employees at all levels. We hope you are curious to understand more and interested in adopting in your organization. Unless we are eager and have a thirst for new knowledge, better things will never manifest. With that philosophy, we hope your organization is willing to bring in the best to develop a culture as a system that can help your initiatives thrive across all aspects, rather than 'eating' your strategic intents. Please sign up through the form here to join the waiting list. • Organizational Design: Organizational Design that resembles mimicry of Mother Nature, aka living systems, with a focus on Management by Means over Management by Results. Designing the whole enterprise, ensuring conceptual integrity to provide coherence to meet the needs of the execution of each product line/group market/customer strategies, aligning with target customers and internal capabilities. This design of organizational systems also aims to make all invisible structures visible, which, in reality, play a more dominant role in system-level throughput than any hierarchical structures or RACI (Roles, Accountability, Consulted, and Informed), as in traditional program/project management. In this process, we bring in world views/mental models to break our own paradigm, not just breaking the box, to see the contextual realities to design the systems holistically. We may adopt well proven models/methodoligies that we have so far like, Lean, Theory of Constraints, Hoshin Kanri, BSC, and several others, and we are agnostic to any particular models/techniques/frameworks, but with a focus on foundational thinking at principles, laws of nature, concepts, world views/mental models to help every one in the organization to elevate their consciuosness first, before laying out a particualr set of techniques and practices, etc. Better thinking, better results! • Strategy as a System Cycle: The challenge of getting the strategy right is the primary challenge for any organization. Your organizational efficiency, product development, operations, and supply chain efficiencies do NOT matter at all when the strategies and required strategic thinking are wrong. Even after assuming your enterprise has the right strategy, aligning on and executing it is another big challenge, and is the most recurring problem for most organizations, and to top that you may need to pivot to change or let emergence of strategies to manifest at the ripe time when needed which itself is another big challenge when large organizations are coasting along with their execution programs/projects. Consequently, failures to achieve strategic intentions are often blamed on 'culture eats strategy,' or putting the blame on changing technologies or markets, and several other reasons are often common, but how many make an attempt to handle strategies differently, that is not only right to the changing market dynamics, but also successful in executing them. Besides, it is also pertinent to align your strategic intentions with an organizational design that fits each strategic intention and the culture of the teams/people. As the right organizational design is the vehicle that takes your strategic intentions forward from the current reality, and this design must go beyond the optimal business models you may conceive, it must lead you to think at elevated levels to see that your strategic intentions must fit your organizational design, along with the business model that you conceive. How do you achieve the fit of your organization's activities to each strategic intent?
      • We don't claim to have a magic silver bullet to solve this pressing challenge for enterprises and organizations of any type. Still, we provide pathways, worldviews, and think to rethink philosophically about your enterprise purposes, and then provide a perfect synthesis of well-proven thoughts, models, and techniques from proven models like Hoshin Kanri, BSC(Balanced Score Cards), Strategy Maps, TOC(Theory of Constraints), PDCA(Plan, Do, Check, and Act), and OODA(Observe, Oreint, Decide, and Act) Loops, Systems Thinking, Living Systems theories, and many others. We also provide tailored tools and techniques that help your teams pursue the path in their daily activities. To strengthen those strategies, our Organization Design will help build the capabilities your organization requires.
